Measurements of inclusive charged jet v2 in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV with LHC-ALICE

Room: ２３３室 Measurements of jets provide unique probes of Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) properties and the path-length dependence of partonic energy loss. This reports jet v2 measurements for inclusive charged-particle jets, using Pb-Pb collisions data at √sNN = 5.02 TeV taken by the ALICE collaboration. Jets are reconstructed using the anti-kT algorithm with R = 0.2, and jet v2 for non- central collisions is reported in the range 30 < pT < 100 GeV/c. This is the first measurement of charged jet v2 at √sNN = 5.02 TeV. The low pT reach of this measurement, which is unique to ALICE, is especially important to constrain theoretical models and to elucidate the mechanisms which generate jet v2. The results are also compared other jet v2 measurements at the same and lower collision energies.
